Job Description

Our Client based in Alton has a requirement for a Production Operative on a permanent basis. You will undertake all aspect of manual component placement and inspection.

The Role

· Hand solder surface mount components to IPC 610 standards

· Manufacture cable harnesses from drawings and wiring schedules

· Mechanical assembly from outline drawings

· Rework for upgrades of SMT components

· Perform detailed quality inspections of populated circuit boards

Qualifications / Skills / Experience

· Good written and verbal communication skills

· Confident working in a demanding and pressurised environment

· Adaptable and flexible an approach to change

· Planning and Organising – ability to work to strict deadlines

· Excellent team worker, with the ability and self-discipline to work alone effectively

· Problem solving and analytical skills to provide effective solutions
